Hanford Landfill - Final Closure

Project Description:
EBA prepared the Final Closure and Postclosure Maintenance Plans and coordinated approval of closure plans from the California Integrated Waste Management Board and Regional Water Quality Control Board. Closure design included a clay cap on the 72-acre landfill with perimeter drainage systems and development of an on-site storm water retention basin.
EBA Provided the Following Services:
- Preparation of the Final Closure and Postclosure Maintenance Plans.
- Evaluation of on-site clay material for use in the final cover.
- Design of landfill gas flare system.
- Preparation of final construction plans, specifications, Construction Quality Assurance Plan and bid documents.
